Adam: Cassie, Cassie wait a minute.
Cassie: I did that, I got mad and that's what happened. I didn't mean to, why is this happening, how do I stop it?
Adam: That's the thing, you can't. But, if you let me, I can help.
Cassie: Why do you guys come here?
Adam: Because no one else does.
Cassie: Condemned buildings are like that.
Adam: It's important no on else find out about us, especially our familes.

Adam: We're witches? Diana found her mom's book of shadows, it's how we knwo bout all of us.
Cassie: She's the only one with a book?
Adam: Technically each family has a book, but her's is the only one we have access to.
Cassie: Why?
Adam: Because witchcraft is forbidden.It was abolished.
Cassie: Because of what happened years ago.
Adam: It's when my mom died, Diana's mom, Faye's dad, Melissa's mom, Nick lost both of his aprents.
Cassie: My dad? I don't know much about it, just that there was some big accident.
Adam: The official story was that some teens were partying on some old boat and there was a fire. Some of them didn't get out.
Cassie: A fire?
Adam: Diana thinks it's because they didn't bind their circle.
Cassie: I don't undertsand.
Adam: Every witch is born into a circle, our's is made up of our six families. A ciclre has more power than any one person can handle. Binding is the only way we can utilize the power but keep it controlled
Cassie: Faye says it will link us together.
Adam: Yes, it will limit our individual abilites, but strenthen us as a group, that way no one can have too much power.
Cassie: It's like i'm living in a Harry Potter movie.
Adam: He has a wand. (Cassie gives him look). It is not all bad. Just let me show you.

Adam: Some spells in Diana's book require certain herbs, roots, we've been experimenting.
(unscrews light bulb and holds wire out to Cassie)
Cassie: Are you crazy?
Adam: It's grounded, I'm holding it right now. Trust me.
(Cassie holds wire) Take my hand. Energy is flowing from the battery, through you, to me, to this. Now you try it by yourself. Just concentrate on the energy, feel the flow in side you, focus. (light flickers) Breathe, slow, deep breaths, look at me. (breathing together; light bulb explodes)
Cassie: This is a bad idea

Cassie: No it's my fault, I shouldn't have come.
Adam's Dad: Hey Cassie.

Cassie: The other night you were telling me about my mom.

Adam's Dad: There's this old legend about our families, some astrological lore about the two of us on some collision course with destiny. It's silly.
Cassie: I've never really believed in astrology.
Adam's Dad: To be honest, I just know that whenever I was around your mother I'd get this feeling. This attraction to her that was impossible to ignore. All she had to do was look at me or smell just right and I'd light up inside. No else could do that. Like I said, it's silly.

Adam: Hey (sits down). I've been asked to come over here to convince you to bind the circle.
