Adam: Hey, have you seen her yet?
Nick: She got in  yesterday.
Adam: And?
Nick: She got in yesterday.

Adam's Dad: I loved your mother, very much
Cassie: How did my father feel about that?
Adam's Dad: He didn't like it, but i was no threat, your mother chose him. still, it was written.
Cassie: What is written?
Adam's Dad: Our families are written in the stars, we're destined. it's always been that way.
Adam: Dad, what are you doing? No drinking before dinner, a deal's a deal. (To Cassie) Hi, sorry
Adam's Dad: This is Cassie, Amelia's girl, she's beautiful isn't she?

Adam: I'm Adam
Cassie: Cassie. So, uh, this is your dad's place?
Adam: Yeah, you can take a seat wherever, I'll bring you a menu.
(Cassie goes and sits.)
Adam: You know I saw you at school, how was your first day?
Cassie: It's not over yet, I'll get back to you.
Adam: (laughs) All right, I'll be back in a minute

Faye: Adam's a hottie, you should make a play. You're totally his type
Melissa: Stop it, Faye.
Faye: What? It's true.

Faye: Adam's cute, don't you think? And he really does go for the sad, delicate types.
Cassie: You know, I'm not feeling all that delicate right now, so I think I'm going to go. You two have fun.

Cassie: I just don't understand what happened.
Adam: Car caught on fire.
Cassie: Thanks for saving me.
Diana: Hey, are you ok? What happened?
Adam: I think her engine blew.
Cassie: No way. That was something else, you saw it. It went up in flames. I'm going to call my grandmother.
Diana: Uh, no, no, you shouldn't do that. Adam, why don't you take Cassie home?
Cassie: No.
Diana: Oh, no it's ok. This is my boyfriend by the way, he's really cool.
Adam: It's really not a problem, I'll take you.

Cassie: Maybe it was ready to go kaput, I did just drive it a thousland miles.
Adam: i'm sure that's it.
Cassie: But the doors wouldn't open.
Adam: Maybe you panicked and you locked them when you meant to unlock them .
Cassie: No, the lock's pretty straightforward. It only does two things And how did the fire go out?
Adam: By itself.
Cassie: If you say so.

Adam: So how was your first day? (laughs and they share a look.)
Cassie: So how long have you and Diana been together?
Adam: Three years now.
Cassie: She seems really nice.
Adam: Very nice.

Adam: Hey, um, I heard what my dad told you about him and your mom and the stars. He's got a lot of crazy ideas, and then he gets to drinking.
Cassie: He's sweet, from where I sit that's a good thing. Thanks for the ride.

Adam: Cassie, wait. It's not as crazy as it seems.
Cassie: Yes, it is. This is insane, all of you are insane.
Adam: Our parents had a circle, just like our's.
Cassie: My God, can you hear yourself? My mother was not a witch, i would ahve known.
Adam: No, because it was all covered up, because something went wrong. People were hurt, they were killed, so they abolished witchcraft.
Cassie: I don't believe you.
Adam: You're not the only one who's lost a parent, we all have.

Cassie: There's no such thing as witches and withcraft. I don't believe it, I can't.
Adam: Let me show you. Here, it's ok, trust me. Close your eyes. Ok now, concentrate on how your hand is connecting with the leaf, then how the leaf is connecting with the water.

Adam: Feel that? That tingling when my hand was touching yours? That’s your energy connecting to mine.

Cassie and Adam: A drop of water, as light as air, a drop of water as light as air.

Cassie: Are you doing this?
Adam: We are. This has never happened before.

Diana: You did magic with her?
Adam: I thought if she knew what she was capable of she wouldn't be as afraid of it.
Diana: You made water float?
Faye: How romantic.
Nick: And then you let just her run away.
Adam: I lost control.
Faye: Sounds like it.
Adam: No, I lost control of the magic. With Cassie here, our power is magnified ten times over.

Adam: She's not going to tell anybody.
Faye: He would know, they made magic together.

Adam's Dad: Did you know our families are aligned in the stars? Me and Amelia were meant for each other.
Cassie: Yeah you keep saying that, but I don't understand what you mean.
Adam's Dad: It's the same for you and Adam. You don't want to mess with fate, bad things happen when you mess with fate.

Adam: No, I just wanted to apologize. I'm sorry about earlier.
Cassie: Which part?
Adam: in the woods.
Cassie: I know.
Adam: It should never have happened, I don't know how it happened. I love Diana.
Cassie: Yeah, I get it.
Adam: It can't happen again.
Cassie: No, it can't.
